Why is the wood from a Little Leaf Linden used in basket making?
Each tree on the Leaf Trail is marked with an informative sign that highlights facts about the tree and it’s historical or cultural significance. The Leaf Trail Scavenger Hunt focuses on six of these trees. Find them, read about them, and make leaf rubbings to answer this and more questions in the downloadable brochure.

Click here to download the Leaf Trail PDF.
It prints to a 8.5 x 14 piece of legal sized paper.

The Franklin Park Leaf Trail was made possible through funding from the Dr. Thelma I. Schoonover Fund and the Harry E. and Corrine Babbert Fund of the Columbus Foundation.

Leaf Trail brochures are also available at the Ticket Center at Franklin Park Conservatory.  Writing utensils will not be provided by Franklin Park Conservatory for this activity.
