2011 ANNUAL TRIALS RESULTS

About the 2011 Evaluations:
Trial entries were planted May 21st.  The first evaluation occurred on July 3rd and the final evaluation was on September 12th, ending the evaluation.  Evaluations were performed once monthly.  Entries were fertilized two times with Scotts Miracle Grow Shake ‘n Feed continuous release fertilizer. The fertilizer was applied at a rate of 1tbs per square foot on May 21st after planting and again on June 23rd. Whether by rainfall or overhead irrigation the garden received a minimum of 1” of water per week after the 6-week establishment period in which some plants were spot watered. See below for monthly Min / Max temperatures through the months of June, July, August, and September.
