Franklin Park Conservatory is sustained by the generosity of its members, friends, and neighbors and their donations to Friends of the Conservatory, a supporting organization established to raise funds necessary for preserving the beauty and splendor of one of the country's premier botanical gardens.

Please support Franklin Park Conservatory through one of these opportunities:

Annual Fund
- Contributions to the Franklin Park Conservatory Annual Fund provide vital support to the Conservatory’s world-class exhibitions, quality education and outreach programs, acquisition and display of plant collections, and maintenance of an historic building and its grounds. Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted and fully tax-deductible. Contributions of $100 or more are recognized in the Cupola, the Conservatory’s member publication.

Adopt A Tree - Donors can adopt a tree for one year – helping to pay for fertilizing, mulching, pruning, soil testing and annual inspections for the trees in Franklin Park.  Donors will receive a photograph of their tree and be recognized in the Cupola magazine.
Endangered and Significant Trees -- $1,500
Large Trees -- $1,000
Small Trees -- $500

Orchid and Bonsai Collection - Individuals can make donations for the care and growth of the Conservatory’s Orchid or Bonsai collection.  Donations of $500 or more will secure one’s reservation in the Conservatory’s annual orchid or bonsai education series offered by the horticulture staff.  Gifts of $100 or more will be recognized in the Cupola magazine.

Tributes - Honor a friend, thank a co-worker, mark an anniversary, a birth or a marriage, or memorialize a loved one by making a tribute gift to Franklin Park Conservatory.

In-kind Gift - The Conservatory has many specific needs from electronics to garden equipment. In-kind donations are accepted on a case-by-case basis. A cash gift may also be specified for purchase of a particular item on our wish list. Call the Development Office at 614.645.5585 for a current list.

Endowment Gifts - The Conservatory currently has three endowment funds to which donors can give. The Franklin Park Conservatory Endowment supports general operations of the Conservatory; the Growing to Green Endowment supports the Conservatory’s community gardening program and the Annie’s Pond Endowment provides resources to support the care of the Conservatory’s koi collection.  Donors can also start a new named endowment to honor a loved one.  The minimum gift to start a new named endowment is $20,000 (payable in a multi-year installments).

Planned Gifts - Planned gifts, or contributions made through financial and estate planning, enable most anyone to leave a lasting legacy, while also enjoying greater tax and financial benefits. Include the Conservatory in your planned giving and make a lasting and positive impact on the future of Franklin Park Conservatory.

The Conservatory has established The Heirloom Society to recognize those individuals who make a planned gift of real estate, retirement assets, life insurance, a charitable bequest or deferred charitable gift.

Program and Exhibition Support - Individuals and corporations can support Growing to Green, the Conservatory’s community gardening program, and temporary exhibitions such as Blooms & Butterflies, the annual Orchid Show, and Chihuly at the Conservatory at various levels starting at $1,000.  Donors will be recognized in the Cupola magazine and receive additional recognition dependent on the donation amount and the program or exhibition supported.
