Book Club – May

A Book of Bees: And How to Keep Them by Sue Hubbell

Follow apiarist Sue Hubbell and her 300 hives scattered throughout the Ozarks for a lesson in beekeeping, animal husbandry, and human’s symbiosis with valuable pollinators. Hubbell outlines an essential guide for all prospective beekeepers in this part nature journal, part personal memoir while weaving her own account of her place in nature and how she navigates the idea of loneliness vs. solitude.

This Book Club meeting is accompanied by an interactive Q&A with a beekeeper from the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association and will meet in the AEP Education Pavilion on the Community Garden Campus.
