This is a vegetarian cooking class taught by dietitian Kim Pierpont of OSU Wexner Medical Center.
Making fresh pasta is easy and fun. It becomes more exciting when exploring alternative flours. In this class, students will learn how to make fresh pasta using chickpea flour, a great gluten-free choice. Then, we’ll roast vegetables and make pesto for our pasta.
For dessert, students will learn how to make coconut whipped cream, which we’ll dollop over a mound of berries. To complement the meal, students will also learn how to make ginger ale from scratch and pair it with refreshing mint and lime.
