Cocktails at the Conservatory – Throwback Thursday ’70s

Let’s boogie! Cocktails at the Conservatory is throwing it all the way back to the ’70s. Online ticket registration will close at Midnight on Wednesday, November 1. Tickets will be sold at the door the night of the event but spots are limited!

Relive the glory days with revived cocktails, nostalgic snacks, karaoke, decades trivia and more.

Cocktails at the Conservatory events are 5:30-9:30pm and strictly 21+. IDs will be checked at the door. Advance reservations are required for all guests, including all member levels and Monarchs, and close at midnight before the event. Tickets will also be sold at the door but spots are limited.

Prizes There are a few opportunities to make this a truly winning experience:

-Complete and turn in your event passport to be entered into a raffle for a prize package from one of the event vendors

Community Support

$5 of every ticket sold to Cocktails at the Conservatory is donated to support the Conservatory’s non-profit mission. By attending, guests help fund programs that educate children, ensure community access to nature and spread gardens throughout the city. Accessibility

Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for free on a first-come-first-served basis. 

Designated parking spaces are available near the Main Entrance. Guests can be dropped off a short distance from the Main Entrance if necessary.

Service Animals are the only animals permitted at the Conservatory.

Are these events 21+?

Yes, these are cocktail party-style events where alcohol will be served. IDs required. These events are a special opportunity for adults to enjoy the Conservatory with their peers

Do I need to reserve tickets?

Yes, advance reservations are required for each event, including for all member levels and Monarchs. Tickets will also be sold at the door for this event only.

Tickets are $30 for the public and $25 for Conservatory members (join now!).

Are refunds available?

No, tickets are final sale and non-refundable. This includes refunds for the weather as the events can be moved inside.

Are these events weather dependent?

No, the entire indoor Conservatory is open during the events so they will not be canceled due to weather. Activities and vendors will be moved to rain locations if need be.

What’s included in a reservation?

Access to the Conservatory’s indoor and outdoor experiences and current exhibitions. The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden will close at dark.

Reservations also include alcohol samples from each alcohol vendor. Additional drinks can only be purchased from the designated cash bars. Food may be purchased from the Conservatory dining and food trucks.

The entertainment is included with the cost of a ticket and does not require additional reservations.

$5 of every ticket is donated to the Conservatory’s non-profit mission, supporting outreach, access, and education programs. Visitors make a difference just by visiting and can see the results of their impact by subscribing to the Conservatory Cultivators.

Is there a dress code?

There is no formal dress code for this event. It is a cocktail party, and guests are encouraged to wear fun outfits, especially if they match the theme of the event.

Are outside food or beverages permitted?

No, outside food and beverages will not be permitted. We kindly ask that you support the cash bar and local vendors.

Is there parking available?

Yes, the Conservatory has a free parking lot for guests located off of East Broad Street. Guests can also be dropped off or picked up in front of the Main Entrance. Please see our map.

If necessary, additional parking is available at the Franklin Park Adventure Center.
