Conservatory Explore Nights: Red, White & Bloom

Come enjoy all the fun that summer has to offer at Franklin Park Conservatory! New this summer, in June, July and August, we will be open late for a new Special Engagement: Conservatory Explore Nights.

Each night will offer a lively festival experience including: live entertainment, food trucks, facilitated discovery stations, signature cocktails & mocktails, crafts, and a scavenger hunt. This month’s theme is: Red, White & Bloom

All there is to do and see during the evening!

Spin Art Make a beautiful abstract painting with pour paint in the Pergola in the Grand Mallway. (Free for kids 12 and under)
Butterfly Messages Look through the eyes of a butterfly to create your own flower with hidden designs at the Discovery Station in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children's Garden.
Rainbow Welcome Terrace Scavenger Hunt Search for colors and patterns around the Conservatory! Stamps will be available at the Rainbow Welcome Cart.
S'more Kits With Fire Pit Purchase a S'mores kit from the Conservatory Food Truck for the family and hang out by the fire pit!
Chalk Artist: Lori Hughes From 6-8pm watch Lori create a chalk masterpiece! Children can participate in their own chalk drawings in the Pergola in the Grand Mallway.
The Shazzbots Live musical performance from 6-8pm in the Bull Pen.
Backyard Games Cornhole, Giant Jenga and Giant Connect Four in the Pergola in the Grand Mallway.
Refreshments Drinks:
Signature Cocktail (21+): Red Vodka Spritzer (Watershed vodka, lime sparkling water, cranberry juice, ginger beer, garnished with a lime slice and American flag umbrella)

Non-Alcoholic: Little Firework (Ginger Ale, grenadine, lime juice, garnished with a cherry and American flag umbrella)

Exhibitions

June 3 - September 10, 2023 Garden Safari Thirty larger-than-life animal topiaries will be on display this summer! Explore the Conservatory Courtyards, Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children's Garden and Grand Mallway to discover topiaries filled with plants and colorful moss that mimic the colors and textures of fur, skin, scales and feathers.
June 3, 2023 - January 7, 2024 Paul Busse Garden Railway Journey with the trains through a miniature world of 47 botanical models made from all-natural plant material. Special elements to add to your itinerary include an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, a bubbling brook and plantings specific to each themed destination.
