Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra is an enjoyable, easy and powerful practice that goes beyond deep relaxation to a place of natural peace and quiet that is tremendously healing. Nothing more is required than lying or sitting comfortably and listening, so it is accessible to all. It allows us to take a break from distractions, uncertainty, confusion and stress to receive the gifts of rest, re-connection, clarity and calm. Over the long term, Yoga Nidra changes our physical and emotional responses to stress. February class theme: Living at the speed of life – reclaiming wisdom and presence.
Bring to class – yoga mat and 1 or 2 blankets; one blanket under your head as a pillow if needed (towel will also work) and another to pad your mat or cover up if cold.
Nice to have – eye pillow, bolster, small pillow for your head.
Chairs will be available for participants who prefer to be seated. If you plan to sit, you may want to bring a blanket and a yoga block to rest your feet on.
