Festive Holiday Centerpiece

Hands-on led by Conservatory Educator, Christie Nohle.

Practice simple and DIY floral arrangement techniques that will help you create your own special holiday centerpiece to last through the season. The centerpiece will look festive on a dinner table or make a thoughtful gift for a host.

Participants can choose to attend this presentation in person or virtually, whatever they feel most comfortable with. The in-person registration fee includes a varied selection of greenery, cones, berries and other plant parts to create the centerpiece. The presentation will be limited to 14 and attendees must practice social distancing and wear masks. Virtual attendees will be sent a materials list and a link to the video conference before the class begins.

Instructor: Christie Nohle Christie Nohle was an educator and Outreach Program Manager at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens from 2013-2020. Prior to that, she was the founder and owner of the eclectic garden shop, Urban Gardener in the Short North, and was also the general and catering manager at a local restaurant.

She is a graduate of The Ohio State University in landscape architecture with a minor in landscape horticulture. Christie teaches many of the horticulture classes with a focus on design and craft including, but not limited to, landscape and floral design, wreath and container gardening and herbal products.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge of plants and gardening with the students at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens as well as her own practice.
