This is an informational class presented virtually by master gardener, Nancy Lahmers. Due to the popularity of the in-person class, an additional class has been added but will be conducted through Zoom.
Learn how easy herbs are to grow. We will discuss the basics of garden design to create a visually pleasing and functional herb garden for your use. Also, we will cover some historical uses of these plants including as medicine, seasoning, fragrance and display.
Common questions that will be answered: Which herbs to plant? Should I use seeds or starter plants? When and where to plant? What are the best growing conditions? In pots or in the ground? Will they survive the winter?
