Herb Gardening

This is an informational class presented by master gardener, Nancy Lahmers.

Learn how easy herbs are to grow. We will discuss the basics of garden design to create a visually pleasing and functional herb garden for your use. Also, we will cover some historical uses of these plants including as. medicine, seasoning, fragrance and display.

Common questions that will be answered: Which herbs to plant? Should I use seeds or starter plants? When and where to plant? What are the best growing conditions? In pots or in the ground? Will they survive the winter?

If necessary, please check your spam folder for communications about this class. We ask all participants to be aware of and comply with the Conservatory’s current Health & Safety procedures.
