Nature School Explorers: Early Spring (Members Only)

Members, please join us for Nature School Explorers- a collaborative learning experience for small groups of young children that will nurture their curiosity, investigation, and understanding of plants, insects, and the natural world.

Sprouting seeds, wiggly worms, digging dirt…

Nature School Explorers provides young children, ages 3-5,  with unique and meaningful opportunities to explore the world around them. Each week children will engage in hands-on activities with Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens educators in an hour-long program inside and outside the classroom. Science, language arts, math, art, and music will support learning in a fun, developmentally appropriate way.

The learning- and fun- continue after class when our Explorers team up with their select grown-up to complete a “special mission” related to the weekly theme which takes place throughout the Conservatory. Gardening, scavenger hunts, science experiments and more are among the activities specially created for hands-on discovery!
