Needle Felted Bonsai

This is an art class led by Conservatory educator, Nicole Tabit.

Felt is a textile material that is produced by matting fibers together, in this case with wool and a sharp needle. Use these materials to create a miniature felted bonsai tree that’s full of life and color. Wool roving is applied to a foam structure to form this felted sculpture.

All experience levels are welcome and felting supplies are provided. Having thimbles or finger protection is not necessary to felt, but sometimes finger pricking happens. Please feel free to bring thimbles or fingertip guards!

If necessary, please check your spam folder for communications about this class.
