This introduction provides a basic understanding of the watercolor medium and its many possibilities in an informal and supportive setting. Topics include: washes, color mixing, resists using masking tape and fluid, texture using household products and working from photo references or sketches. Each class begins with a warm-up exercise, followed by instructor demo, then individual painting and projects. Some experience is recommended, but all levels are welcome.
Class led by Jeri Ellis Platt.
