Pressed Flower Cake

This is a cake decorated using dried, pressed flowers (grown and picked by our Conservatory team!) to create a whimsical floral aesthetic on cakes. Elaine from Sweet & Shiny Bakery will demonstrate a fast and easy way to dry and press flowers in a way they won’t lose all of their vibrant colors.

Next, you will get to decorate your personal 6” round cake using flowers, leaves, and herbs dried before class. Elaine will teach and guide you how to artfully and delicately apply the flora to your cake. This decorating style is versatile with the season and can be used to create a floral confetti design, a meadow-like display, or like the image above a charming bouquet-like image.

This cake design aesthetic is elegant enough for special occasions, holidays, or just for celebrating the season. Cakes can be refrigerated for up to 1 week.
