Blooms & Butterflies Member Celebration

Reservations for the Member Celebration will be available starting on April 14 at 9am! Members must be logged in to their accounts in order to make a reservation.

Delight in the sights of springtime the annual Blooms & Butterflies Member Celebration!

Members are invited to enjoy our two springtime exhibitions during this special celebration: Blooms & Butterflies in the Pacific Island Water Garden Biome and Columbus Blooms, the largest spring horticultural display in Central Ohio featuring more than 100,000 tulips, daffodils and pansies and other blooms.

This event is free for members, though space is limited so reservations are required for named members and their guests. Members may bring as many guests as their membership allows.

In addition to enjoying the exhibitions, fun activities will be available for all ages! Monarch Society Members are invited to an exclusive pre-event reception.

Please be aware, the John F. Wolfe Palm House and Upper Wolfe Terrace will be closed for a private event.

Butterfly Q&A Meet our butterfly experts and ask all of your butterfly-related questions! Watch newly-hatched butterflies be released into the garden and observe specimens under a microscope.
Butterfly Craft Create a butterfly-themed craft led by Conservatory educators.
Stilt Walkers Be amazed by the spring floral stilt walkers
Spring Shopping Use the 10% discount for members at Botanica Gift Shop & Greenhouse to shop spring-themed home decor, jewelry, pottery, books, and Painted Lady larvae (while supplies last, discount excludes sale and consignment merchandise).
Refreshments The Conservatory's Garden Cafe, cash bar and Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Truck will be available for purchasing food and drinks.
Monarch Society Members Reception Monarch Society Members are exclusively invited to a special pre-event reception to enjoy butterfly-related education and learn about the Society's namesake monarch butterflies from one of the Conservatory's educators. At 5:30, we will end the reception with a release of monarch butterflies in the Pacific Islands Water Garden Biome.

Cost: Free
Registration: Required! Registration for the pre-event reception will open on April 14 at 9am. Monarchs do not need to register for the event if they register for the reception, the event is included in registration for the pre-event reception.
Guests: Monarchs can bring as many guests as their membership allows, up to 10. All Monarchs and guests must be registered.
