Spring Nature Journal

This is a hands-on class led by Conservatory educator, Nicole Tabit.

Build up your nature sketching skills! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned seasonal observer, learn the basic methods for keeping a detailed nature journal. Learn the basic skills of sketching indoors using a photo, and then hone your new skills outside while creating a page in your journal that reflects your observations.

The class will also cover basic tips on the best tools to take in the field, how to incorporate color on the go and what notes are most important to take while you observe nature.

This class will be held partly outdoors, weather depending. Basic journals and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials too.

If necessary, please be sure to check your spam folder for communications about this class.
