Celebrate spring by capturing the vibrant colors of the season with your paintbrush. Mindy leads a three-week series in watercolor techniques and training, using spring-flowering blooms as the muse. New this series, students are offered a $5 watercolor kit at time of registration. Be sure to add it to your cart when you check out online. Register for all three classes, or just take one! The flower for both Easter and Passover, with its five-pointed Star of David. This lovely first-of-spring flower, in its sweet buttery shades of yellow, will be a great learning tool for color theory. You may want to bring in your own photographs!
Saturday, March 24, 1–3pm
More interesting ways to create in watercolor using the white of the paper rather than the white paint. The daisies are a fresh and simple way to express spring. You will be asked to bring your own supplies this week.
