The Communal Garden: Seed Starting

This is a community gardening class taught by the Conservatory educator, Nicole Tabit. Classes in The Communal Garden series teach gardeners skills that can be used in community gardens or to support their community through gardening. They are low-cost in an effort to advance gardening skills in our communities. The series is a part of the Conservatory’s Growing to Green program, which supports and develops community gardens across Central Ohio.

Instructor: Nicole Tabit Nicole Tabit is the Community Outreach and Education Program Coordinator at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Her degree is in Natural Resource Management and Visitors Services from The Ohio State University. She loves to hike and be outdoors, but she also loves to create and combine her love for the arts and environment by tying natural elements into her art projects.
