It’s National Gardening Week! Gardening season has begun but there’s still plenty of time to have a successful season. Learn everything your need to know to have a wonderful vegetable patch. This class will focus on:
Planning: site selection and size, seeds vs. transplants, selecting vegetable varieties, raised beds & container gardening.
Planting: when to plant, succession planting, companion planting.
Maintaining: watering and fertilizing, prevention and management of garden pests, insects & diseases.
