Vegetable Gardening

This is a virtual class taught through Zoom by master gardener, Francine Sevel-Goldsmith.

Learn everything your need to know to have a successful vegetable garden. This class will cover:

  • Planning: site selection and size, seeds vs. transplants, selecting vegetable varieties, raised beds and container gardening.

  • Planting: when to plant, succession planting, attracting pollinators and companion planting.

  • Maintaining: watering and fertilizing, prevention and management of garden pests, insects and diseases.
