Discover the intersection between shapes and colors as we paint bee balm and hummingbirds. Prints will be available to render an interesting composition, creativity rearranged by the student. Before the drawing begins, the instructor will demonstrate how to draw the hummingbird and bee balm. She will also provide individual attention to beginners.
Saturday, August 24, 1–3pm
When painting the columbine flower, learn how to paint the transparent and opaque properties of light and shadow. Prints, demonstrations and individual help provided by the instructor.
Saturday, August 31, 1–3pm
Hollyhock and hummingbirds are the inspiration for this class as students paint a stop-action view of the bird in flight before the hollyhock. The instructor will provide easy-to-follow demonstrations on how to draw this flower and bird. Prints provided. Bonus: learn a new technique using saran wrap!
