Three-Week Series: Saturdays, May 4, 11 & 18, 1–3pm
Saturday, May 4, 1–3pm
After rainy days of April, Daffodils remind us of the vibrant sunshine and promise of new life in the spring. Let’s enjoy that burst of bright, energetic yellow through painting. Beginners practice step-by-step outlines with individual instruction from the instructor.
Saturday, May 11, 1–3pm
Pink azaleas take center stage as we practice watercolor ‘flow backs’ to create natural looking blossoms. We practice mixing colors on damp paper, allowing the paper to dictate the color flow.
Lily of the Valley
Saturday, May 18, 1–3pm
The lovely white bell-shaped lily of the valley, with its strong deep green leaves, creates a wonderful opportunity to explore the contrast of light and shadow. Explore watercolor with the aid of prints and plenty of encouragement to beginners. It’s a great opportunity for feedback from the instructor for the experienced artist, as well.
