A day of using simple painting techniques to create the snow-covered pines. From the snow-covered pines sitting beside a frozen brook, to the bare trees of winter in the dense forest on far away hills, the artist will create a winter landscape. Beginners will ease into this class.

Snow Birds

December 16, 2017, 1–3pm

Conservatory Meeting Room A

With the use of prints and photos, let’s try our hand at drawing a bird sitting on a branch or feeding off a bush, covered with snow. We will give the salt technique a try as we approach the look of snow falling from the sky. A demonstration on some simple ways to draw a bird will be provided for beginners.
