Winter Floral Arrangement

This is a hands-on floral design class led by Conservatory educator, Jenny Pope.

We will break out the evergreens and pinecones for this beautiful arrangement! The class will begin with a discussion of basic floral design concepts and the types of evergreens suitable for an arrangement. Then, the real fun begins as students will create their own arrangement using the concepts they’ve learned and the materials provided.

Enjoy sipping on a mug of hot cocoa as you create a fabulous centerpiece that can decorate a home or be given as a gift!

Instructor: Jenny Pope I have always been a "flower girl". As a young child, I created award-winning floral arrangements for the County fair, picked wild daisies from the roadside, and reveled in the rainbow of colors found in the annuals and perennials at my grandparent's garden center. As a horticulturist, I worked in a cut-flower greenhouse, harvesting fragrant Asiatic Lilies and soaring stalks of Alstroemeria. At my home, you will see fresh flowers on the kitchen counter. I believe flowers should be a part of everyone's life, and I am excited to share my floral arranging tips and passion with you!
