Bash at the Barn Sponsorship Information

Bash at the Barn is the perfect event to entertain clients or build your network in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere, all while investing in a great cause. Our Bash sponsors enjoy a private VIP reception on the beautiful ScottsMiracle-Gro Community Garden Campus, featuring complementary valet parking, an open bar, and a special parting gift. Following the VIP reception, the party moves to the Wells Barn for the 500-person “main event”, featuring live music, a silent auction, signature cocktails, fine wines, local craft beers and delicious food from top local restaurants.

As a Corporate Sponsor, Executive Co-Host or Benefactor you can enjoy opportunities to:

    • Raise your community visibility

    • Enhance your reputation as a good corporate/community leader

    • Enjoy business development and networking opportunities

    • Entertain clients and deepen client relationships

    • Elevate executives’ community presence or reward employees

    • Align with the mission of Franklin Park Conservatory

    • Directly invest in the Conservatory’s impactful education & outreach programs

Funds raised through Bash at the Barn benefit the Conservatory’s horticulture programs and community outreach initiatives, cultivating a closer connection between people and the natural world. From nature-based early childhood programs and extensive plant collections in our gardens and biomes, to the sprawling Children’s Garden and immersive horticulture displays, the Conservatory creates opportunities to explore, connect and marvel at the natural world.

Just a few of these nature-based initiatives include:

Education Programs in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden – Drop-in programs in the Children’s Garden engage children and families with hands-on experiences in science and nature, including study of wetlands and the water cycle; pollinators and insects; native Ohio trees and wildlife; citizen science projects; gardening, harvesting and tasting; art with natural materials, and much more. Programs change weekly, so there is always something new to explore.

Arbor Day & Pollinator Pallooza – These free community events offer family-friendly activities and are open to the public. Each event features nature-based hands-on activities, demonstrations and more, connecting the vital roles played by trees and pollinators to the health and welfare of humans. Activities include species identification, garden tours, tree climbing and more.

Field Study Scholarships – Field trips provide invaluable, hands-on learning opportunities and address specific academic content standards, while helping children build connections to nature that last a lifetime. The Conservatory offers scholarships for low-income schools to fully fund the costs of bus transportation, admission, and educational staff and programming, ensuring that students in any school system or neighborhood have the opportunity for an educational experience at the Conservatory.
