2019 Hat Day Event Details

The 2019 Les Chapeaux dans le Jardin promises a beautiful day of celebration, camaraderie and philanthropy, to benefit the youth education programs at Franklin Park Conservatory.


Event Schedule

11 am:  Cocktail Party on the Wolfe Terrace

11:45 am: Proceed to Luncheon Tent

12 pm Luncheon Under the Grand Marquee
Presentation of the Ann Isaly Wolfe Award

12:45 pm: Spring Style Show

1:15 pm: 10 Best Hats on 10TV

1:30 pm: Closing Remarks

Spring Style Show The Spring Style Show will feature trending looks for women and men from some of our city’s premier boutiques. Fresh florals dot the runway—from the eminently wearable to the fantastically whimsical—thanks to the creative partnership of local floral designers and a Conservatory horticulturist.
Hat Day 2017
10 Best Hats on 10TV We want your chapeau to be recognized as one of the 10 Best Hats on 10TV. Whether your hat is elegantly bespoke or beautifully adorned in a riot of fresh flowers, ten lucky ladies and gentlemen will be crowned winners in this friendliest of competitions.

Guest Information

This year’s festivities are on Friday, May 3, 2019, rain or shine. There are no tickets for the event.
All guest names and seating assignments will be available at the registration tables upon arrival.

Dress

Come dressed in your garden cocktail party attire and your favorite chapeau! The event takes place outside; please plan dress and footwear accordingly. Again this year, Hat Day will feature the 10 Best Hats on 10TV! Whether your hat is elegantly bespoke or beautifully adorned with fresh flowers, ten lucky ladies and gentlemen will be crowned winners in this friendliest of competitions.

Parking

Complimentary valet services will be available near the Wolfe Terrace.

Uber and Lyft users, please proceed to designated drop-off/pick-up point in the Conservatory’s main parking lot next to the East Carriage Path Gate.
