On View Through January 9, 2022Holiday BloomsWe’ve decked the Conservatory’s halls, and they’re blooming with holiday spirit! Visitors can spend the season amidst distinctly themed and photo-ready holiday vignettes featuring hundreds of unique poinsettias, the famous poinsettia trees and more!
On View Through January 9, 2022Conservatory AglowEach evening the gardens will transform into a wonderland of lights for guests to enjoy. Pass through the winter-themed light tunnel to see new displays, including the reimagined Topiary Collection. These fun additions to Conservatory Aglow are featured alongside light displays that are back and better than ever!
On View Through January 9, 2022Paul Busse Garden RailwayPaul Busse Garden Railway is now a holiday destination! Nine G scale model trains travel across over 1,000 feet of track and around four enchanting botanical landscapes that are decorated with holiday lights.
Entries Due: November 27–28 | Display: December 1–31Gingerbread Competition & DisplayThe theme for this year’s gingerbread competition is “There is no place like home for the holidays.” Enter in one of three categories—Youth, Adult & Family or Community Organization. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category. Conservatory guests will vote on the Best of Show, a $500 prize.
All entries must be dropped off on Saturday, Nov 27, or Sunday, Nov 28, 10am–4pm or 5–9pm. Entries will be on display in the Conservatory from December 1–31, 2021. Entry forms and contest rules are available online.
November 20 & December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 | 2pmHoliday Blooms Musical EntertainmentOn select dates at 2pm, live music will be performed in the Conservatory to accompany Holiday Blooms. Schedule is subject to change.
November 26-27 | 11am-3pmCreate A Gingerbread HouseHead to The Wells Barn for an afternoon of gingerbread fun! Create a mini gingerbread house with graham crackers, icing and candy. Guests can choose to create their gingerbread house onsite or take it to go ($7 per house kit).
December 4-5 & 11-12 | 8-11amBreakfast with SantaBreakfast with Santa is back and totally reimagined! “Catch” your breakfast from Katie’s Pancakes who will be onsite flipping pancakes. Enjoy all the pancakes and sausage you can eat, plus fresh orange juice or coffee and a visit with the big guy himself, Santa!
December 26 | 11am & 2pmCelebrate KwanzaaTony West and the Imani dancers will celebrate the first day and principal of Kwanzaa: Umoja, meaning unity. Their performance will feature the vibrant style of West African drumming and dance.
December 27 | 11am & 2pmFantastical Hedgehog Magic ShowChildren’s entertainer, Erica Carlson, brings comedy, magic, and her famous hedgehog, “Hedgie”, together in this performance that’s fun for all ages.
December 28 | 11am & 2pmComedy Juggler, Matt JergensThis international gold medalist juggler will thrill and captivate the audience with his one-man variety show of juggling, stunts, acrobatics and comedy.
