Needle Felted Picture Frame

Learn the art of needle felting, and create a custom 4×6 picture frame designed to suit your style, or give it as a thoughtful gift! Felt is a textile made by matting fibers together, in this case with wool and a felting needle. Students will apply layers of wool to a base material and then add small details and shades to build a frame with a rainbow of colors or 3D appliques. You will leave with a solid picture frame for your photos! Feel free to bring a lunch or purchase one from our Garden Café during this program.

Difficulty: Beginner; all supplies provided. Bring your own photograph. Having thimbles or finger protection is not necessary to felt, but sometimes finger pricking happens. Please feel free to bring thimbles or fingertip guards!
