When you make a gift, do you visualize the end recipient of your goodness when making your donation? Do you realize the individual lives you’re touching, and the people who directly benefit from your generosity?

Take Ralph, for example, after he received the Gardener of the Year Award. With tears streaming down his face he told us, “I never thought that I could do this. I never knew a tomato plant could grow from this tiny seed. I never thought I’d be here!” Supporters, just like you, helped cultivate a fresh, new life interest for Ralph and our other community gardeners.

Our board members are so excited about cultivating positive impact in our community, that they decided to match each gift made to this campaign, up to $45,000. A gift can help to:

CULTIVATE a new love for nature in young visitors.

CULTIVATE new friendships between two visitors on a Community Day.

CULTIVATE budding romance between folks walking through our gardens on a first date.

CULTIVATE a new holiday tradition in a young family taking photos at Conservatory Aglow.

CULTIVATE a healthy new diet in a visitor to our free Wednesday Farmers Markets.

CULTIVATE bright minds in our Kids Camps, who feel both immediate affinity for nature and often go on to have a lifelong appreciation for the great outdoors.

CULTIVATE awe and wonder in a child splashing in our Sandstone Creek and learning about the water cycle for the first time at our Learning Pavilion in the Children’s Garden.

CULTIVATE a social outing for seniors visiting the Conservatory on a group tour—while you didn’t organize the visit, your gift provides the space to make these late-in-life memories possible.

What will you cultivate?

Ways to Give

Annual Fund The Conservatory is your year-round connection to the natural world. No matter the season, our spaces are a haven for you.

As our community relies on us for their nature-fix, we rely on our Annual Fund to provide the strong foundation on which to build our programs. We rely on Annual Fund donations to plan immersive youth and adult education programs, foster genuine connections across diverse communities, and cultivate beautiful gardens that our visitors can call their own. Donate to our Annual Fund today and help build upon our strong foundation!

Make a gift to the Annual Fund by June 1 to instantly double your impact! Our board is matching each gift up to $45,000, so your goodwill goes twice as far.

Monarch Society The Conservatory’s vision is a world that celebrates nature as essential to the human experience. No group makes this vision possible on a daily basis moreso than the Monarch Society. Just as monarch butterflies are a symbol of transformation, this group of donors creates transformational change in our education, outreach, arts and culture, and horticulture offerings.

Join the Monarch Society with a gift of $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund. Support from people like you enables the Conservatory to fulfill its mission and ensures operational strength and security. We thank our Monarch Society members through complimentary year-round admission, special donor events, and exclusive behind-the-scenes moments.

We’re grateful for the generosity and commitment of the 2021 Monarch Society members and hope to welcome you to this group!

Tribute Gifts

Whether you are looking for a unique and unexpected gift for a friend, a meaningful remembrance of a loved one, or a thoughtful recognition of a family member’s accomplishment, we can help you discover a significant way to pay tribute to the important people in your life.

Tribute donations come in many forms and are fully tax-deductible. When you make your Tribute Gift, please be sure to include any special instructions in the “Notes” field on the giving form or email For more information on Tribute Gifts, please click here.

Heirloom Society The Heirloom Society is a group of compassionate individuals who make an estate gift, creating a philanthropic legacy that enables the Conservatory to focus on serving the community today while ensuring its sustainability into the future.

Remember the last time you noticed a glistening snowflake, a swath of lush grass, or a green houseplant bringing life and brightness to a room you're in. Did you feel connected to nature? Embrace that feeling and invest in the Conservatory through a planned gift to ensure others have that feeling for generations to come.

A legacy gift can take many forms: please see this form for more details on the various gift vehicles and options available for membership in the Heirloom Society.

If you have already included the Conservatory in your estate plans, please share the good news! To discuss a planned gift, or to notify us of your gift intent please contact Mary Beth McNamee at

Your gift is tax-deductible, vital, and so appreciated.

Gifts of all sizes make a big difference to the communities we serve at the Conservatory. View our most recent Annual Report and read about the impact our donors made!
