Open Daily: 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

Garden Café

M–F: 11am–3pm, 5–8pm
Weekends: 11am–4pm, 5–8pm

Wed–Sun: 11am–3pm, 5–8pm

Botanica Gift Shop

Daily: 10am–9pm

Conservatory Aglow Evening Hours
December 1, 2018–January 2, 2019: 10am–9pm
December 24, 2018: 10am–5pm
December 25, 2018: CLOSED

The John F. Wolfe Palm House will closed on the following days and times:
Tuesday, December 11 from 4pm–Close
Thursday, December 13 from 4pm–Close
Friday, December 14 from 4pm–Close
Sunday, December 16 from 11am–4pm

The Dorothy M. Davis Showhouse will closed on the following days:
January 7–9, 2019

The Conservatory is open holidays, except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Conservatory gift cards are available for purchase at the Visitor Center during open hours.

Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Coolers may not be brought into the Conservatory. Please ask at the Visitor Center for outdoor table locations.

Community Days: On the first Sunday of each month, the Conservatory is free for residents of Franklin County and the City of Columbus (with valid ID) during regular operating hours of 10am to 5pm. Click here for more information about the Conservatory's Access Offerings.

Directions & Parking

Franklin Park Conservatory is located at 1777 E. Broad Street, just less than two miles from downtown Columbus, near the intersection of East Broad Street and Nelson Road.

Parking at the Conservatory is free. Limited parking for larger vehicles is available on-site.

Visitor Policies

Garden Etiquette

During your visit, please stay on pathways and refrain from picking flowers, climbing trees or harvesting fruit or produce from gardens. Pets are not permitted at Franklin Park Conservatory. Food and beverages are not permitted in art galleries and outside food is not permitted in the Grand Atrium.


Enjoy a Garden-inspired menu from the team of Chef Stephanie Young at the Conservatory’s Garden Cafe. Outside food and beverage are not permitted.

Smoke-Free Facility

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is a smoke-free facility. This policy includes all use of smoking products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes as well as alternative smoking devices including e-cigarettes, on Conservatory and Botanical Garden grounds. Thank you for your cooperation!


Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos and/or video for personal, non-commercial use during their visit to Franklin Park Conservatory.

Commercial photography/videography requires prior approval from the Conservatory’s Event Sales Department. A Commercial Shoot Application must be completed & submitted prior to shoot. For more information regarding commerical shoots, please view the Photography Policy.

On occasion the Conservatory will photograph or take video of guests for educational and/or promotional purposes. Admission to Franklin Park Conservatory grants permission for use of these images.

Contest rules

Franklin Park Conservatory will occasionally run contests that are open to the public. Past contests have included trivia questions and submission of photos using hashtags. Contests differ so please download complete rules below for entry.
