Open Daily: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Garden Café

M–F: 11am–3pm
Weekends: 11am–4pm

Botanica Gift Shop

Daily: 10am–5pm

The Conservatory is open holidays, except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Conservatory gift cards are available for purchase at the Visitor Center during open hours.

Admission prices and hours subject to change. Coolers may not be brought into the Conservatory. Please ask at the Visitor Center for outdoor table locations. Free admission is available on the first Sunday of the month, 10am–5pm, for families and individuals in eligible programs with proof of participation. Visitors must show a photo ID plus one of the following forms of ID at the Visitor Center: Ohio Directions card, Medicaid card, W.I.C. card, Molina card or Care Source Options

Directions & Parking

Franklin Park Conservatory is located at 1777 E. Broad Street, just less than two miles from downtown Columbus, near the intersection of East Broad Street and Nelson Road.

Parking at the Conservatory is free. Limited parking for larger vehicles is available on-site.

Visitor Policies

Garden Etiquette

During your visit, please stay on pathways and refrain from picking flowers, climbing trees or harvesting fruit or produce from gardens. Pets are not permitted at Franklin Park Conservatory. Food and beverages are not permitted in art galleries and outside food is not permitted in the Grand Atrium.


Enjoy a Garden-inspired menu from the team of Chef Stephanie Young at the Conservatory’s Garden Cafe. Outside food and beverage are not permitted.


We strive to make the Conservatory and its gardens accessible to all however, there are portions of our historic building that may be inaccessible to some guests. Electric scooters are available on a first come, first serve basis at no cost to the visitor.


Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos and/or video for personal use during their visit to Franklin Park Conservatory. Please view the Visitor Photography Policy for more details.

Commercial photography/videography requires prior approval from the Conservatory’s Event Sales Department. To make a reservation or to learn about rates, contact the Event Sales Department at 614.715.8100 or

On occasion the Conservatory will photograph or take video of guests for educational and/or promotional purposes. Admission to Franklin Park Conservatory grants permission for use of these images.

Service Animals are permitted at the Conservatory in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities  Act (ADA).

Contest rules

Franklin Park Conservatory will occasionally run contests that are open to the public. Past contests have included trivia questions and submission of photos using hashtags. Contests differ so please download complete rules below for entry.
