Instructor: Lisa Horkin Lisa Horkin graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with a bachelors of fine art. Lisa studied glass blowing and ceramics with a primary focus on painting. Soon after getting back to glass art Lisa began showing her work and became a part of an artist’s collective gallery in the Short North of Columbus, Ohio, Studios On High, where she exhibited her glass art for five years. Lisa also began teaching workshops and demonstrating glass blowing at Glass Axis, the Ohio Glass Museum, and Franklin Park Conservatory. She has developed and presented glass art/science classes and continues to develop programs and workshops to bring better understanding of glass art to the community. Lisa is currently a demonstrating glass artist on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at the Franklin Park Conservatory and shows her art at Hawk Galleries in Columbus, Ohio.
