Biome Bonanza: Koibito of the Water Garden

It’s a Biome Bonanza at the Conservatory this summer! We are highlighting some of our special features of each of our unique biomes June, July, August and September.  

This month’s Biome Bonanza program is all about the sweetheart of the water garden (Koibito = Sweetheart in Japanese), our fabulous Koi collection and creating your own garden’s water feature. Come learn about Koi fish, pond building, rainwater harvest for use within the landscape, refilling ponds, and how it can benefit your overall backyard, and water loving plants. We will be joined by Ohio Koi, Complete Aquatics, Kool Aquatics and a representative from our own Exhibits koi caretaking team.
