Visiting Bonsai Artist Series: Bryan Six

Join the Columbus Bonsai Society at Franklin Park Conservatory for the second event in the Visiting Bonsai Artist Series, featuring renowned bonsai artist Bryan Six. This free, public program offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about the art and care of bonsai.

The day begins with a BYOT (Bring Your Own Tree) Workshop from 10 a.m.–1 p.m., where participants can bring their own bonsai or suitable tree to work on alongside Bryan and fellow bonsai enthusiasts. The workshop includes instruction on bonsai care, styling and techniques, with attendees having the opportunity to work directly with Bryan.

From 2–5 p.m., enjoy a live bonsai demonstration as Bryan transforms a tree while sharing his knowledge, techniques and approach to bonsai. The demonstration will be followed by a Q&A and open discussion. No registration is required, and the event is free and open to the public.
