The Flutter Run

What a bee-autiful day! Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, fluttered, volunteered, sponsored, and cheered at the third annual Flutter Run benefiting Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. We welcomed over 500 participants and spectators for a morning celebrating pollinators, healthy living, and the power of community. From the excitement of the Caterpillar Crawl Kids Run to the cheers at the 5K finish line, this year was our biggest Flutter Run yet, and every participant helped create a morning that was buzzing with energy, laughter, and community spirit.

Proceeds from the Flutter Run support Franklin Park Conservatory’s mission to connect people to nature through youth education, outreach programs, and experiences that inspire our community to grow. Participation in the Flutter Run supports programs like these:

• The Farmers Market increases access to fresh, locally grown food to the Near East Side community. 

• Nature School provides children ages 3-5 with hands-on, meaningful opportunities to explore the world around them. 

• Outreach Programs that bring nature-based education and resources out into the community.
