Due to inclement weather, the Conservatory will be closed on Sunday, January 25, and Monday, January 26. Guests with General Admission tickets for either day may reschedule their visit for an earlier or future date. Guests with Winter Ice Festival tickets for Sunday may visit on Friday, January 23, or Saturday, January 24.
The Sunrise Lawn is the perfect place to blow off steam and let kids be kids. The level lawn area serves as an ever-changing toy chest of hula-hoops and other lawn games – a lighthearted invitation for spontaneous family fun. An east-facing rolling grassy hill doubles as lawn blanket seating for large programs and festivities.
The AscentOhio bottomland trees transition to upland species as visitors make the gradual ascent to the Canopy Walk. Strollers, wheelchairs and people of all physical abilities traverse this gentle rise lined with native Ohio trees.
Boulder ScrambleThe Boulder Scramble, tucked into the tallest part of the slope, gives little climbers quick access to and from the Tree Top Bridge to the Mulberry Perch.
Ohio GroveA newly planted grove of native Ohio trees, the Ohio Grove creates a diverse and rich collection of trees to enhance the canopy experience while at the same time introducing youngsters to native leaves, flowers and fruits.
