Teen Corps is a high-impact, community-supported summer program for eligible teens designed to teach life and work skills through hands-on experiences in urban farming.

While working in a community garden to grow produce and then sell it through their own stand at the Conservatory’s Farmers Market, teens learn about horticulture, the environment, health and nutrition, entrepreneurship, communication and self-reliance. Participating teens also receive a stipend.

Applications for 2025 Teen Corps are now available!

This year’s Teen Corps program runs from Monday, June 15, until Friday, August 7th.

Our schedule is Monday – Thursday. August 7 is the only Friday date. It is our graduation/celebration. This program is available to any teenager aged 15 to 18 on or before June 1, 2026, who resides in Franklin County or is a student in the Columbus City School District. Applicants should have an interest in the environment, gardening, and entrepreneurship, and have an interest in sharing knowledge with the public at our weekly farmers’ market.

Application deadline (including recommendations) is April 17th. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
