April Member Walk

Welcome to the Franklin Park Conservatory! We’re thrilled to have you as a member and to show our appreciation, we’re inviting you to an after-hours guided tour of the Conservatory! Each month, we will have a special members-only experience where you’ll have the chance to take a guided tour of our biomes after the crowds have gone and learn about the history and the incredible work that goes into creating our breathtaking exhibits and plant displays. Members must be logged in to their online member account to register.

How long will the walk be?

1.5 hours (may be shorter or longer depending on group size and mobility)

Will the walks be indoors or outdoors?

The walks will mainly be indoors, though we may walk through courtyards or briefly outdoors to view exhibits.

How difficult will the walk be?

This will be a gentle, guided walk at a medium pace through the biomes, which all have ADA accessible pathways. Benches will be available to rest, but the group will mainly walk for the duration of the program.

Will every walk be the same, or should I sign up for many months?

Overall, the walks for the summer will cover similar material, but content may vary depending on the questions asked, and the tour guide’s knowledge.
