Community Day

About Community Day

Community Day is the first Sunday of every month. Residents of Columbus and Franklin County receive free General Admission. Identification is required.

Community Days include access to the entirety of our gardens and collections and current daytime exhibitions. Admission to special engagements on select evenings (Chihuly Nights, Pumpkins AglowConservatory Aglow) is not included. More information on Conservatory offerings and ticketing is available below.

This Community Day will feature hula hoop and bubble activities in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden. There will also be a performance by the Urban Strings Youth Orchestra featuring the Conservatory’s own Halle Craig as lead bassist and group manager.

This Community Day is sponsored by the Franklin Park Conservatory Women’s Board.

As of May 2022, reservations are no longer necessary for Community Day; tickets cannot be reserved in advance. IDs are still required.

We still ask those who have the means to support the Conservatory through admission to consider visiting another day so Community Days stay true to their purpose of increasing access to the gardens.

The Conservatory can still reach capacity. Guest levels will be kept to an enjoyable and safe level.
