Biome Bonanza: Scents of the Himalayas

It’s a Biome Bonanza at the Conservatory this summer! We are highlighting some of our special features of each of our unique biomes June, July, August and September.

Someday you might find yourself hiking the Himalayan Mountains, at these high elevations, you could find yourself on a journey of sweet smelling plants! If you’re not planning on visiting these peaks in person, don’t worry, the Conservatory has a nice sampling of these plant species at Ohio elevations!

The Himalayan biome is full of many plant species that are extravagantly fragrant, so fragrant that their blooms are sometimes used to manufacture oils and high-quality fragrances. We will be joined by Makes a Lot of Scents – oils and perfumes, Penn & Beech Candle Company, and Queen Charlotte’s Teatime Trailer will be there selling delicious tea drinks and sweet treats!

Included in General Admission and Membership.
