Cake Decorating with Fresh Flowers

This is a cooking class taught by a local baker, Elaine Li.

This class will teach you how to assemble a buttercream cake decorated with fresh flowers. Each student will receive two layers of cake, buttercream, and detailed instructions on how to trim, fill, stack, and ice your cake. While your cake chills in the fridge enjoy a glass of wine while building flower clusters to decorate your cake. A box will be provided to transport your masterpiece home!

Instructor: Elaine Li Elaine Li is the owner and operator of Sweet & Shiny Bakery located in Columbus. Her journey started as a glassblowing instructor, which she still does as a hobby. Elaine discovered the similarities between sugar sculpting and glassblowing several years ago, which sparked another passion, baking, soon she opened Sweet & Shiny Bakery.
