Crafts Uncorked: Tropical Printmaking

Crafts Uncorked is a regular gathering to explore a new craft style in a relaxed, informal instruction setting- you do not need to be crafty to enjoy! Each month, we will learn the basics of a different craft and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s the perfect way to ‘un-cork’ your creativity, work at your own pace, and be inspired.

This month, we will get creative with acrylic paint, tropical plants, and create tropical prints exploding with color and texture on art paper! We’ll go over the basics of printmaking, the tools we’ll use, and then students will choose various tropical plant leaves trimmed from the Conservatory collections to create splashy and bright art prints you can display or continue to craft with.
