In this class, you’ll cover all the pollinator basics, and walk away with the knowledge to start a satisfying long term project in your own yard.
Pollinators are responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food you take, and do immeasurable work to pollinate the beautiful flowers of Ohio’s native flora.
Participants will reimagine their ideas of landscape to embrace the plants that are essential for supporting pollinators. Whether you are an avid gardener or just beginning your journey into the world of pollinator friendly landscaping, this class will provide practical insight and inspiration.
You will learn which elements to include in a vibrant habitat, the best plants to support bees, butterflies, and beyond, where to get them, and how to enhance the beauty of your space. You may also learn what you should do with the non-native plants that may be focus pieces of your garden!
