Learn how to be a better steward of the Earth by learning more about the plants that inhabit it this Earth Day!
Join Forager and Chef Lorenzo Tavani for a foraging plant walk around the Franklin Park Conservatory Community Garden Campus. Class will consist of an hour long, guided plant walk, focusing on edible plants growing at the park. Students can expect to feel more comfortable identifying wild plants and build a deeper relationship to the natural world. Students will learn how to incorporate these wild foods into their everyday lives.
We will gather in the Wells Barn before beginning our walk. Please be prepared for a gentle guided walk around the Conservatory grounds and have appropriate footwear.
