Firepit Harvest: German Tradition, Latin Flair

This seasonal fire pit class will explore the flavors of fall through char, smoke, acidity, warmth, and contrast. Inspired by German harvest traditions and Latin American flavor techniques, the class will showcase how seasonal ingredients can be transformed through fire, quick pickling, purées, composed salads, platters, and simple plated presentations. We’ll use fall fruits and vegetables to complete our meal.

Throughout the class, you’ll learn how chefs think creatively about ingredients—using the same seasonal produce in multiple ways to build texture, balance, flavor, and visual appeal.

Our menu will include dishes made with squash, pumpkin, sausages, mustards, pickles, alliums, pears, apples, herbs, and charred vegetables through a practical yet artistic approach to fall cooking.
