Fungi & Friends: ID Workshop

Join us to learn about the fascinating world of fungi & similar organisms. First we’ll explore basic biology of mushrooms and fungi, then take a look at their roles in nature. We’ll talk identitation tips, before covering some of the most commonly observed mushrooms and where to see them. Preserved fungi specimens and spore prints will be looked at to observe these fungi in person. Weather depending, we will go outside to look for mushrooms growing in the park.
