Community Day

About Community Day

Community Day is the first Sunday of every month. Residents of Columbus and Franklin County receive free General Admission. Identification is required.

Community Days include access to the entirety of our gardens and collections and current daytime exhibitions. Admission to special engagements on select evenings (Chihuly Nights, Pumpkins AglowConservatory Aglow) is not included.

This Community Day, we’re joined by AKidAgain, a non-profit organization that creates adventures for families that are seeking time away from the hospital. AKidAgain families and Conservatory visitors will be able to enjoy a performance by TransitArts youth group at 11am and 1pm on the Wolfe Terrace. The performance will include dancing, hip-hop & a live band, spoken word and singing.

More information on Conservatory offerings and ticketing is available below.

As of May 2022, reservations are no longer necessary for Community Day; tickets cannot be reserved in advance. IDs are still required.

We still ask those who have the means to support the Conservatory through admission to consider visiting another day so Community Days stay true to their purpose of increasing access to the gardens.

The Conservatory can still reach capacity. Guest levels will be kept to an enjoyable and safe level.
