2023 ProMusica Summer Music Series

Join ProMusica for two free concerts on August 10 & 11! Spend a magical evening in the Grand Mallway of Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, with world-class orchestral performances each night. Pack a picnic (no outside alcohol permitted) and enjoy live music performed against the backdrop of the illuminated John F. Wolfe Palm House. You do not need to reserve tickets. These concerts are free and open to the public.

Gates open at 6pm and the concerts begin at 8pm. The duration is approximately 1 hour with no intermission.

Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. The Conservatory’s Food Truck and cash bars will be open for refreshments. In the hour before the performance, there will be children’s activities behind the stage on the Wolfe Terrace. Animals (with the exception of Service Animals) are not permitted.

Accessibility

The West Carriage Path gate is used as a handicap entrance. Designated parking spaces are available near the Main Entrance but guests can be dropped off at the West Carriage Path gate if necessary.

Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for free on a first-come-first-served basis.

Service Animals are the only animals permitted at the Conservatory.

Do I need a ticket?

Entry is free to both concerts and guests do not need a ticket.

Is parking available?

Parking is free at the Conservatory’s parking lots located just off of East Broad Street. Our lots will fill quickly and overflow will be directed to the surrounding areas Wolfe Park, and/or East High School; so best recommendation if you want to park close to the event, you should get here early.

 

When can I arrive?

Gates open at 6pm.

Is the Conservatory open before or after the concert?

Only the Grand Mallway will be open for the concerts. The indoor experience and the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden will not be open.

Are refreshments available?

The Conservatory’s Food Truck and cash bars will be open during these evenings. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks but no outside alcohol will be permitted.

ProMusica’s VIP seating includes some refreshments. Those reservations must be made through the ProMusica website. (TBD)

Are there restrooms available?

Indoor restrooms and portable restrooms will be available. Please ask staff members if you need assistance locating a restroom.

What happens if there is severe weather?

Every effort will be made to hold the concert as scheduled. In the event of severe weather, information will be posted on the Conservatory and ProMusica websites.
