Do your best, pests! We’re going to start the gardening season off right by tackling pests early. By integrating effective pest management strategies, you can attract beneficial insects while keeping unwanted visitors at bay. Discover key steps to take throughout the season, including which plants to include, avoid, or even remove to deter major pests. Learn how to choose the right methods for managing pests that will be least harmful to the environment and your garden. At the end of class, we will make an all natural pest repellent to take home!

SPRING INTO GARDENING CLASSES

Instructor: Cindy Maravich Cindy Maravich is the Community Education Manager at Franklin Park Conservatory. She oversees all community education initiatives including the Growing to Green program, Community Gardening, Outreach, Adult, Culinary, Farmers' Market, and the Teen Corps program. She enjoys getting people excited, interested, and educated about plants, nature, and gardening.
