SPRING INTO GARDENING CLASSES

Instructor: Fred Higginbotham Fred Higginbotham, III is the Operations Manager at Millcreek Gardens, one of the Midwest’s leading wholesale nurseries. His love for horticulture began as a young boy growing marigolds from seed in clay pots, sparking a lifelong passion that led him to study Floriculture at SUNY Alfred State and Crop Science at The Ohio State University. While at OSU, Fred secured an internship at Millcreek Gardens that shaped his career—building into more than 20 years of growing, learning and sharing with others. Today, he oversees production of high-quality perennials, herbs, annuals, and his enthusiasm for growing plants and building a thriving business continues to grow stronger every day.
