Stained Glass Bird of Paradise

In the gray winter months, we look to houseplants for some color and cheer. In this hands-on workshop, combine the most vibrant of tropicals- the bird of paradise- with the art of stained glass to create a stunning suncatcher! In this beginner-friendly workshop, Kara of Good Dea Glass Co will guide you step by step as you cut, grind, and solder sheet glass using the copper foil method. You’ll leave with a finished piece to display, along with the skills to keep exploring stained glass.

All tools and materials are provided; participants must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. Recommended for ages 12+, designed with adults in mind.
